A Hoax
I’m curious, if you learned tomorrow that the Jesus resurrection story was a hoax, how would that impact your religious beliefs?

Hmmmm. After quick consideration and a decision not to post a smart ass answer, I’ve come to the conclusion that none of my faith that is Christian has anything to do with the fact that He is Risen, but instead how Jesus lived.
Buddah is in us all. Jesus and Buddah are synonymous to me in most contexts, I belive. Quick answer.
Dude, where did that come from? Too deep for 5 in the morning……
Dude, where’s my Buddah?
thought this is a cheap way out, i agree whole heartedly with David. At this point in my faith I am more of a Buddhisto-Christian than anything else, and the important thing to me is how I impact others with my actions and how I lead my life in such a way as to leave great kindness and little negative impact. With that in mind I study the way Jesus and Buddha lived, not what may or may not await me when my actions no longer have influence on those I love. Whether or not Jesus was resurected is far less important than who He was in life and the image he projected in that living.
