Rain, rain go away

I like rain; I especially like those ferocious thunder storms that Alabama has in spring and summer. However, I am really started to get annoyed with rain. It seems like it has been raining non-stop since May here. I wouldn’t mind a few times a week even; the main problem is that it is really cutting into my ability to get any sort of consistent riding in on the bicycle. Chalk this up to Murphy, but the three day I was in Evansville last week, it was nice and sunny here in New York. This week has been nothing but rain again, and that is all that is in the forecast too. On top of that the temperature is having trouble making it into the sixties (burrrrgh) — I don’t think I need to remind you that we are in the heart of the summer, when it should be nice and hot.

While in Evansville I had to go to Jackson, TN. All I can say is I miss Southern summers; it was hot and humid, it felt great.

I shouldn’t be complaining because it really is nice here. If it weren’t for all the rain there wouldn’t be any problems. If the sun were out I’m sure it’d be tad warmer and I’d be enjoying myself more and I’d be thankful for not having to endure another hot summer.

Maybe the real problem is that I’m experiecing SADs due to the lack of sun light.

Well you know the 100+ stuff here in Tuscaloosa can be pleasant.
When you are inside your air conditioned house.
But I do know what you mean. It rained for like 12 days straight here a few weeks ago. Since then its been just the pop-ups.
Good luck getting the riding in.

Nothing at all like an Alabama thunderstorm. I always remember thinking that Indiana tried, but really couldn’t compete.
